Aluminium stationary and mobile working platforms for railway industry

One of the latest investment projects in the Polish railway industry is the PKA hall in Rzeszów, where KRAUSE has designed and implemented a comprehensive technical infrastructure to support train maintenance.

Within the scope of this project, several aluminium structures were designed and implemented for the protection of the train service personnel when working at height. The delivered structures are adapted to the different types of rail vehicles.

The following solutions are used in the hall: a stationary working platform with a length of 100 metres and a mobile segmented working platform with a length of almost 34 metres. Both types of platform provide safe access to the roof of the trains.

In addition, 5 compact structures in the form of platforms and stairways have been built to provide safe access to the interior of the train, allowing routine maintenance work to be carried out inside the vehicles.
