If your fabrication shop is looking to boost its sheet metal capacity, there’s an online auction closing this month that you wont want to miss. Apex Auctions – one of the UK’s leading platforms for surplus industrial machinery, running over 400 auctions per year and selling more than 30,000 items across 63 countries – is currently hosting a focused sale of bending rolls and CNC press brakes, with bidding open until Thursday 18 June 2026 at 14:00 BST.
Seven lots are on offer, with machines from 1998 through to 2021 with a wide range of opening bids, making this an accessible entry point whether you’re a small job shop or a large-scale fabricator looking to expand capacity.
The Headline Lot: MG G3022D Bending Roll
Leading the sale is Lot 1, a 2017 MG G3022D 3-Roll Double-Pressure Sheet Roll with MG Control. With a bending length of 3,100 mm, a rolling capacity of 22 mm and a pre-bending capacity of 16 mm, this is a capable, well-specified machine. The top roll diameter is 350 mm and the bottom rolls measure 320 mm, with rollers manufactured from certified C45 steel with hardening treatment. Opening bids start at €5,000 with €1,000 increments. For any workshop involved in cylindrical or conical rolling, this represents a rare chance to acquire a relatively recent machine from a reputable Italian manufacturer.

A Strong Selection of CNC Press Brakes
The bulk of the sale is made up of CNC press brakes – covering multiple manufacturers, tonnages and a range of budgets.
Lot 2 — 2021 Baykal APHS 41240 A four-axis machine with 240 tons of pressure and a 4,100 mm bending length, controlled by the widely respected Delem DA-66T system. At just four years old, this is one of the newest machines in the sale and represents exceptional value for its specification. Axes include Y (beam), X (stop/distance), R (stop height) and powered crowning for consistent bending angles across the full length.

Lot 3 — 2021 DENER PX 30530 Also featuring Delem DA-66T control, this four-axis machine punches hard at 320 tons – the highest tonnage in the sale — with an 18.5 kW motor and a 3,050 mm bending length. The DENER brand is well established in heavy fabrication.

Lot 4- 2011 Bystronic Xpert 150 . Offering 150 tons, a 4,100 mm bending length and a 215 mm stroke. The Xpert 150 is a well-regarded workhorse in the industry, and five-axis control (Y, X, R, Z1, Z2) offers genuine flexibility for complex bending programs.

Lot 5 — 2001 LVD PPEB 170/42 A five-axis CNC press brake with CADMAN control, offering 170 tons of pressing force and a generous 5,000 mm bending length — the longest in the sale. Axes include Y1, Y2, R and X, with crowning for bending angle compensation.
Lot 6 — 2020 Edwards Pearson EPT-CNC-ECO-175×3200 An electro-hydraulic machine from one of Britain’s most trusted press brake manufacturers. At 175 tons and 3,200 mm bending length with EP10 CNC control and Lintech SL laser guarding, this is a modern, safe, energy-efficient machine that would be an asset in any fabrication facility, comes with a very big range of tooling.

Lot 7 — 1998 Bystronic Hämmerle BM 200-4100 The oldest machine in the sale, but arguably the most intriguing for the right buyer. Eight-axis CNC control with Sicos, 200 tons, 4,100 mm working length and a generous 400 mm stroke with 250 mm reach. The Hämmerle three-point bending system is legendary for angular accuracy.
