Apex Auctions, one of Europe’s largest industrial auction houses, has launched two online sales this autumn covering machinery located in Poland. The first is a two lot sale in Zielona Góra featuring a 5 axis machining centre and a compressed air container station. The second is a much broader 20 lot metalworking auction spanning multiple sites, ranging from recent CNC machining centres to presses, plasma cutters and technical containers. Both sales run on the Apex Auctions platform and close in the second half of September 2026.
Zielona Góra: Hermle Machining Centre and Compressed Air Station
The Zielona Góra auction opened on 20 August 2026 and closes on 24 September 2026 at 14:00 BST. Only two lots are listed, but both should appeal to metalworking and job shop operators.
Lot 1: 2003 Hermle C600U Machining Centre
A 5 axis machine with X: 600 mm, Y: 450 mm and Z: 450 mm travels, a 280 mm rotary/swivel table (A axis: +20/-90°, C axis: 360°) and a spindle speed of up to 15,000 rpm, controlled via a Heidenhain TNC 530. The listing notes the machine currently shows some fault codes, visible in the accompanying photos, a detail worth factoring into any pre purchase assessment.
Lot 2: 2016 Ervor Rafale 50 SP Compressed Air Container Station
A complete, ready to run package with only four hours of test operation. The set includes a 37 kW oil cooled screw compressor (approx. 260 Nm³/h at 7 to 9 bar), a two column regenerative adsorption dryer, an air cooled aftercooler, and three stage filtration down to 0.01 μm. Everything is housed in an insulated, ventilated 10 foot steel container running on a 400V three phase supply.
Viewing is available in Zielona Góra, strictly by appointment. Full details and registration: 2003 Hermle C600U Machine and Combined Container Station

Apex Auctions Offers More Than Auctions
Beyond running online sales, Apex Auctions provides broader support for companies managing surplus assets. This includes free valuations of machinery and equipment, advisory support for plant closures or relocations, private treaty sales for sellers who prefer to avoid the auction format. For manufacturers upgrading a production line, moving facilities, or winding down operations, this kind of service offers a straightforward way to convert unused assets into cash, without having to source buyers independently.
