As of 1 January 2025, Endress+Hauser and SICK have initiated a strategic partnership to work together to advance process automation in industry. The cooperation between the two industry leaders aims to provide process customers with comprehensive support in increasing production efficiency, protecting the environment and reducing their carbon footprint.

One of the key elements of the cooperation is the exclusive distribution of SICK’s process analysis and gas flow measurement technology by Endress+Hauser. With the exception of China, Turkey and Saudi Arabia, these changes came into effect on 1 January. This integration gives customers access to a wide range of products and solutions from a single source.

As part of the partnership, around 800 specialists from SICK’s process automation sales and service departments have joined Endress+Hauser’s global structures in 42 countries. In Poland, the Endress+Hauser team has been strengthened by 17 experts, providing greater flexibility in responding to market needs and access to innovative technologies.

Furthermore, the production and development of products such as gas analysers and flow meters will be transferred to the new production company Endress+Hauser SICK GmbH+Co. KG. The company now has 730 employees and works closely with the Endress+Hauser product centres to jointly develop innovative solutions tailored to changing market requirements.

As Peter Selders, CEO of Endress+Hauser, points out, this partnership opens up new opportunities for action in the field of industrial sustainability. By working together, we can support our customers faster and more efficiently on their way to a more sustainable future,” says Selders.

Mats Gökstorp, CEO of SICK, points out that the cooperation is an opportunity to create innovative solutions that respond to global challenges.

Endress+Hauser and SICK are family-owned companies with a rich history of success in many areas. SICK’s core business of factory automation and logistics, which accounts for more than 80% of the company’s sales, will remain independent.
