Polish company Transition Technologies PSC has created an integrated PLM change management system and laid the foundations for a future digital strategy for Airbus Helicopters Technik. The main objective of the project was to migrate data from the customer’s legacy systems to the Windchill PLM software, enabling the optimisation of product lifecycle management processes.

Now all relevant company data is managed in an integrated change and action process, PLM designers can link CAD models directly to Windchill for effective collaboration and control, and databases are standardised.

Konrad Dróżka, member of the board of TT PSC, says: “We have laid the foundation for AHT’s future digital strategy, which will enable integration with other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES). We will continue to work with AHT to support them post-implementation. I am convinced that we will be able to transfer our experience from many projects for the aerospace industry in the West to the Polish market”.

“This is our next major cooperation with an aerospace company. Since 2023 alone, we have completed eleven projects for the aviation industry worldwide, mainly in the areas of PLM and IoT. These types of projects must meet the audit requirements and processes approved by the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), which the new system must replicate. Issues of ensuring a high level of data security are also key. The digitalisation of the aviation industry is both a challenge and a great opportunity to, among other things, automate and optimise design, production and service processes, improve product quality and efficiently adapt to a rapidly changing market,” says Konrad Dróżka.
