Menlo Electric, a Polish distributor of photovoltaic components, has achieved great success by taking first place in the prestigious FT1000 ranking of Europe’s fastest growing companies, compiled by the Financial Times and Statista. This ranking, based on revenue growth rates, is considered one of the most objective and prestigious in the European business world.
Founded in 2020, the company has quickly reached an annual turnover of $150 million and will supply 1.3GW of photovoltaic components by 2023 – enough to power a city the size of Amsterdam. As well as conquering European markets, Menlo Electric is also gradually expanding its operations in the Middle East, Africa and the United States, consolidating its position as a key player in the global renewable energy market.
One of the pillars of Menlo Electric’s success is the international diversification of its business. While most distributors focus on the domestic market, only 20-25% of Menlo Electric’s sales come from Poland.
The company operates across the European continent, with hubs in the Middle East and North Africa serving clients from Senegal to Pakistan. Its presence in high-growth markets such as South Africa and the US is key to building resilience in the face of volatile market and regulatory conditions.
After several years of rapid growth, the photovoltaic and energy storage industries are entering a period of consolidation. With our experience in developing businesses across multiple markets and segments, Menlo Electric has the potential to join the global leaders in the renewable energy market. In this regard, we are currently in discussions with potential investors – said Bartosz Majewski, CEO and co-founder of Menlo Electric.
This development would not have been possible without the commitment of the entire team. Bartosz Majewski emphasises the role of employees in the company’s success:
This award was only possible thanks to the dedication of our employees – both current and former – and the trust of our customers and suppliers. We are grateful to all our partners who have helped us meet the challenges of our dynamic growth.
