The Sunreef 43M Eco under development is a 43 meter long and 15.4 meter wide catamaran. Its hull has been built using an advanced single infusion process – the largest of its kind in the yachting industry worldwide. The process creates an extremely light and strong structure while minimizing the emission of harmful chemicals. The total composite area is 1,700 square meters.

Due to the relatively low cost and good properties of the resulting structures, infusion technology is being used to produce large composite structures not only in yacht building but also in the aerospace industry.

In this case, the modular approach allows different components of the yacht to be developed simultaneously, increasing the efficiency of project management.

The yacht will be equipped with up to 250 square meters of state-of-the-art integrated solar panels, of which more than 120 square meters will be seamlessly integrated into the hull structure itself. This solution not only provides incredible energy efficiency, but also enhances the futuristic design of the vessel.

Combined with electric propulsion, state-of-the-art batteries with a massive 1MWh capacity and an advanced hydrogen generator system, the superyacht will be able to traverse the oceans drawing clean energy directly from nature.

Francis Lapp, CEO and founder of Sunreef Yachts, emphasizes that the hull deformation marks a milestone in the brand’s history:

“The deformation of the hull is another very important step in the construction of one of the most revolutionary vessels in the yachting industry. The Sunreef 43M Eco’s composite structure offers the best strength and weight. Its architecture, build quality and eco-friendly technological solutions make it the most advanced electric superyacht in the world”.

Sunreef Yachts is a world leader in the design and construction of sailing catamarans, motor yachts and custom superyachts from 18 to over 60 meters in length.
