DB Energy has summarised 2025 by presenting its key projects, partnerships, and the results achieved in the areas of energy efficiency and industrial decarbonisation. The past year was a period of intensive advisory and project work for the company, carried out both in Poland and on international markets. As DB Energy notes in its summary, it was a year of several interesting projects, new partnerships, and supporting companies in achieving cost-effective decarbonisation.

Operating on the market since 2009, DB Energy has completed more than 1,500 energy efficiency audits to date. The total value of the projects generated has exceeded PLN 5.63 billion, while the implemented and analysed solutions have reduced energy consumption at clients’ facilities by over 9.8 TWh annually, translating into savings of approximately PLN 2.2 billion per year.

In 2025, the company analysed 425 modernisation projects in enterprises from sectors including metallurgy, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, and construction. The most significant projects included energy recovery systems on a scale of nearly 100 GWh per year, solutions delivering CO₂ emission reductions of 12.6 thousand tonnes annually, as well as “quick win” measures with payback periods measured in days.

An important milestone of the year was also the expansion of DB Energy’s offering to include financing for the technical preparation of investments under the ELENA programme, which enables companies to obtain up to 90% funding for analyses, audits, and technical documentation. DB Energy became an official partner of the project implemented by Employers of Poland (Pracodawcy RP) with the support of the European Investment Bank.

In its published summary, the company also presented new strategic partnerships, including cooperation with ING Bank Śląski, as well as investment agreements concluded with Mera S.A. and 1911 Data Centre PL. The year 2025 also saw the further development of DB Energy’s expert activities, including the publication of an industry report dedicated to energy audits, a strong media presence, and participation in the most important industry events in Poland.

DB Energy announces that 2026 will focus on further supporting industry in building energy security, system flexibility, and long-term competitiveness, among others through technologies such as cogeneration, waste heat recovery from industrial processes, and renewable energy installations.
